The dance competition Burlingame CA has been waiting for!
Our Burlingame dance competition takes place at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, which doubles as our host hotel, so families can stay right where the weekend unfolds. A single March date gives studios a focused point on their spring calendar. Dancers will learn from our faculty, perform in the Competition Experience and finish together at the SHOWCASE. For a look at every stop on our tour, visit our dance competitions. Because space is limited and places go first-come, first-served, getting organized early is a good idea.

What to expect at our Burlingame dance convention
Do dancers have to compete? Not at all. The Classroom Series, with its extended 70-minute sessions across multiple genres, is open to dancers who only want to train, and it is the backbone of the weekend for everyone.
What happens on stage? Dancers entered in the Competition Experience get dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges, with adjudication under the Amplified Rules and Regulations. Entering also means registering for the full Classroom Series at the same event. Selected group entries may earn a second moment in the SHOWCASE through the Encore Showcase. Studios looking across the state can find more on our dance competition California page.
Is there something for every age? Yes. Mini through Senior dancers can audition for scholarship opportunities and a place in the Performance Crew, our youngest dancers, ages 5–7, have the SPARKS Experience, and adults can compete in the Adult Division. Older students and parents may also enjoy Classroom Series +, including Propel: Future in Motion for dancers 16+ and ACE (Amplified Continued Education) for dancers 15+.
