Provo hosts both of our Utah weekends, the first in March and the second in April, so studios can choose a date without changing their travel base. Each Utah dance competition weekend brings the Classroom Series and Competition Experience together, giving dancers extended class time and a stage to share their work. What to expect at our dance conventions in Utah
Revive weekends combine a convention and a competition into one experience. In the Classroom Series, extended 70-minute classes across multiple genres let our teaching team go deeper with every group, and dancers who only want to train are welcome to attend without competing.
The Competition Experience gives studios dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges, with adjudication guided by the Amplified Rules and Regulations. To compete, a dancer needs a full Classroom Series registration for that same weekend. Divisions cover Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior, plus an Adult Division, and schedules and performance orders are shared fewer than 10 days before each weekend.
Classroom Series + offers optional extra classes, seminars and forums, including Propel: Future in Motion and ACE (Amplified Continued Education) for dancers 15+. Mini through Senior dancers can take part in the Audition Experience, with scholarship opportunities and selection for the Performance Crew, and the SHOWCASE closes each weekend with Performance Crew, SPARKS and Encore Showcase performances.
