What to expect at our dance conventions in Tennessee
A Revive weekend gives dancers two distinct environments. The Classroom Series offers extended 70-minute sessions across multiple genres, where our Revive faculty can take the time to explain, demonstrate and help every dancer build confidence. Dancers who prefer to focus on training may attend the Classroom Series without competing.
In the Competition Experience, studios receive dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges. Dancers entering it must also be registered for the full Classroom Series at the same event, and adjudication follows the Amplified Rules and Regulations. Waivers must be signed before registration can be completed, and convention schedules and performance orders are released fewer than 10 days before the event.
Our SPARKS Experience is designed for ages 5 to 7, giving young dancers a joyful introduction and a performance opportunity in the SHOWCASE. Mini through Senior dancers can enter the Audition Experience for scholarship opportunities and selection for the Performance Crew, and the closing SHOWCASE brings those performances together with selected Encore Showcase group entries.
