Dance Competitions & Dance Conventions In Illinois 2026/2027
Welcome to Revive Dance, Illinois. Studios comparing dance conventions in Illinois and families researching dance competitions in Illinois 2026/2027 will find two Revive weekends to choose from this season. At each one, we combine classes, stage time and constructive feedback in an environment where dancers feel supported, challenged and inspired to keep growing.
The dance competition Illinois has been waiting for!
We are heading to Chicago twice this season, once in November 2026 and again in February 2027, so studios can pick the weekend that matches their training goals or attend both to measure progress across the year. Each Illinois dance competition weekend is paired with our full convention program, giving dancers class time before they perform. Our dance conventions are built to celebrate artistry and effort in equal measure. Space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served, so we recommend locking in your studio's preferred Chicago weekend early.

What to expect at our dance conventions in Illinois
Revive weekends pair a dance convention with a dance competition so dancers can grow on and off the stage. Training happens in the Classroom Series, where 70-minute sessions across multiple genres give our faculty the time to teach in depth. Dancers may choose to attend the Classroom Series without competing at all.
Entering the Competition Experience requires registration for the full Classroom Series at the same event. Performers receive dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges, and every routine is adjudicated according to the Amplified Rules and Regulations. Our divisions cover Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen, Senior and Adult dancers. Remember that waivers must be signed before registration can be completed.
Mini through Senior dancers can audition through the Audition Experience for scholarships and a place in the Performance Crew, who take the stage in our closing SHOWCASE. Classroom Series + adds optional extra classes, seminars and forums, including Propel: Future in Motion and ACE (Amplified Continued Education), our trainee pathway for dancers 15+.
