Two weekends mean more flexibility for every Chicago dance competition plan. Our November event is hosted at The Westin Chicago Northwest, while our February event moves to the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, and in each case the venue is also the host hotel. Studios can pick the date that suits their season, or join us for both. Each weekend gives dancers time with Revive faculty in the Classroom Series and on stage in the Competition Experience, as part of our tour of dance competitions. Space is limited and registration runs first-come, first-served.

Our Chicago dance competition 2026/2027

Our dance competition Chicago 2026/2027 schedule includes two confirmed Revive weekends at two different venues, one in November and one in February. Each event has its own row in the table below, with separate registration and hotel details.

What to expect at our Chicago dance convention

Each Revive weekend combines a full convention with a competition. The Classroom Series gives dancers extended 70-minute classes in multiple genres, designed so they can settle into each style and really work on it. Dancers are welcome to attend the Classroom Series without competing if training is their main goal.

Anyone entering the Competition Experience must also be registered for the full Classroom Series at the same event. Our Competition Experience provides dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges across Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen, Senior and Adult divisions, with adjudication following the Amplified Rules and Regulations. You can also browse our dance competition Illinois information to see how these weekends fit within the state.

Classroom Series + adds optional extra classes, seminars and forums, including Propel: Future in Motion for dancers 16+, parents and educators, and ACE (Amplified Continued Education), our trainee pathway for dancers 15+. Mini through Senior dancers can join the Audition Experience for scholarship opportunities and Performance Crew selection, while dancers ages 5–7 can enjoy the SPARKS Experience. Both groups perform in the closing SHOWCASE.
