The dance competition North Carolina has been waiting for!
Our North Carolina stop comes to Concord in January 2027, offering a midseason weekend to refresh choreography and gather new feedback. This North Carolina dance competition is matched with a full convention, so dancers spend time in the Classroom Series and can then perform in the Competition Experience. We shape all of our dance conventions around encouragement, artistry and a strong sense of community. Space is limited and we process registrations on a first-come, first-served basis, so studios hoping to attend should register early.

What to expect at our dance conventions in North Carolina
At Revive, convention and competition share one weekend and one welcoming atmosphere. The Classroom Series gives dancers extended 70-minute classes in a variety of genres, taught by our faculty members who encourage curiosity and confidence. Training-focused dancers can attend the Classroom Series without competing, making the weekend a great fit for students who simply want to learn.
Anyone performing in the Competition Experience must hold a registration for the full Classroom Series at the same event. Studios enjoy dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges, while the Amplified Rules and Regulations guide consistent adjudication. Dancers compete in Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen or Senior divisions, and adults have a division of their own.
For extra opportunities, Mini through Senior dancers can enter the Audition Experience, where scholarships and Performance Crew selection are on offer. The Performance Crew appears in our closing SHOWCASE, which also features selected Encore Showcase group entries and a performance from SPARKS Experience dancers ages 5–7. Convention schedules and performance orders are shared fewer than 10 days before the event.
