Dance Competitions & Dance Conventions In Washington 2026/2027

Hello, Washington dancers! Whether you have been searching for dance conventions in Washington or weighing up dance competitions in Washington 2026/2027, we would love to welcome you to Revive this February. Our weekend brings training, performance and constructive feedback together under one roof, giving dancers, teachers, studios and families a shared space to learn, connect and celebrate.

The dance competition Washington has been waiting for!

Our Seattle stop opens the Washington chapter of our tour with a February weekend built around growth. As a Washington dance competition and convention in one, it pairs the Classroom Series, with extended sessions across multiple genres, with the Competition Experience, where routines receive thoughtful critiques from faculty judges. Like all of our dance conventions, the weekend keeps dancers at the center of every decision, from the classroom to the stage. Space is limited and registration is handled first-come, first-served, so we encourage studios to organize their entries early.

What to expect at our dance conventions in Washington

Every Revive weekend is part convention, part competition. The Classroom Series is the heart of it: 70-minute sessions across several genres, led by our Revive faculty, give dancers time to settle into new material rather than rushing through it. Anyone who simply wants to train can join the Classroom Series without competing.

Dancers who would like to perform enter the Competition Experience, which requires registration for the full Classroom Series at the same event. Routines are presented across our Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen, Senior and Adult divisions, and each receives constructive critiques from faculty judges working to the Amplified Rules and Regulations. Convention schedules and performance orders are shared fewer than 10 days before the event, and waivers need to be signed before registration can be completed.

Auditions are another highlight: through the Audition Experience, Mini through Senior dancers are considered for scholarship opportunities and the Performance Crew. Our youngest dancers, ages 5 to 7, have the SPARKS Experience, and the weekend closes with the SHOWCASE, where Performance Crew members, SPARKS dancers and selected Encore Showcase group entries share the stage.
