Our Seattle dance competition comes to the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington in February, and the Hyatt Regency is our host hotel as well. Staying on site gives families an easy rhythm between class, rehearsal and performance. During the weekend, dancers take part in the Classroom Series with our faculty members and then share their routines in the Competition Experience. Seattle is our Washington stop on the tour of dance competitions, offering a full weekend of training and performance. Space is limited, so registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

What to expect at our Seattle dance convention
Revive is a convention and competition rolled into one weekend. The Classroom Series gives dancers extended 70-minute classes across multiple genres, designed to let them settle into each style and leave with new tools. Dancers who would like to train without competing can attend the Classroom Series by itself.
To perform in the Competition Experience, dancers must also be registered for the full Classroom Series at the same event. They receive dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges, with adjudication following the Amplified Rules and Regulations. Divisions run from Sparks and Mini through Junior, Teen and Senior, plus an Adult Division. Discover more through our dance competition Washington information.
Mini through Senior dancers can join the Audition Experience for scholarship opportunities and possible selection for the Performance Crew, who perform in the closing SHOWCASE. Selected group entries can also be featured in the Encore Showcase. Convention schedules and performance orders are released fewer than 10 days before the event, so we recommend checking them as the weekend approaches.
