Each event combines faculty-led classes, rewarding stage time and constructive feedback, giving dancers, teachers and families a shared experience rooted in community and growth.

Our Florida dance competitions 2027 lineup features Orlando and St. Augustine, both in February, so studios can choose the weekend that suits them or make the most of both. Each Florida dance competition weekend is paired with a full convention, giving dancers time in the Classroom Series before they perform in the Competition Experience. Our dance conventions are shaped around encouragement, artistry and a shared love of dance. Space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served, so reserving early is the best way to secure your studio's preferred weekend.

What to expect at our dance conventions in Florida
Both Florida weekends follow our signature format, pairing a convention with a competition. The Classroom Series delivers extended 70-minute classes across multiple genres with our faculty, giving dancers time to learn, ask questions and grow. Dancers are welcome to attend the Classroom Series without competing.
Every Competition Experience entrant must also be registered for the full Classroom Series at the same event. Studios receive dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges, with adjudication following the Amplified Rules and Regulations. Dancers compete in Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen, Senior or Adult divisions, and selected group entries may earn an Encore Showcase spot in the SHOWCASE.
Mini through Senior dancers can take part in the Audition Experience, which offers scholarship opportunities and Performance Crew selection, with the Performance Crew appearing in our closing SHOWCASE. For older dancers, ACE (Amplified Continued Education) provides a trainee pathway for ages 15+, and Propel: Future in Motion welcomes dancers 16+, parents and educators.
