Dance Competitions & Dance Conventions In Alabama 2026/2027

Welcome, Alabama! For teachers investigating dance conventions in Alabama and families comparing dance competitions in Alabama 2026/2027, Revive Dance is a weekend designed around growth. We combine classes, stage time and encouraging feedback so every dancer, whether a first-time competitor or a seasoned performer, can leave feeling more confident than when they arrived.

The dance competition Alabama has been waiting for!

Revive comes to Montgomery in January 2027, bringing our full weekend format to Alabama studios and giving teams a fresh start to the new year. This Alabama dance competition sits alongside a complete convention, which means dancers can learn new material in the Classroom Series and then take the stage in the Competition Experience. Like every one of our dance conventions, Montgomery is built around connection, encouragement and artistic growth. Space is limited and spots are allocated first-come, first-served, so we encourage studios to register as early as possible.

What to expect at our dance conventions in Alabama

A Revive weekend gives dancers the best of both worlds: focused training and meaningful performance. The Classroom Series features extended 70-minute classes in multiple genres with our teaching team, giving dancers room to stretch their skills. Dancers can sign up for the Classroom Series without entering the competition.

When dancers enter the Competition Experience, they must also be registered for the full Classroom Series at the same event. Each routine receives dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges, with adjudication carried out under the Amplified Rules and Regulations. Divisions include Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen, Senior and Adult, so dancers of every age have a place on stage.

Mini through Senior dancers can try the Audition Experience for scholarship opportunities and possible selection for the Performance Crew, who perform in the closing SHOWCASE. Younger dancers ages 5–7 have the SPARKS Experience, with their own SHOWCASE performance opportunity, and dancers 15+ can explore ACE (Amplified Continued Education), our trainee pathway.
