The dance competition Montgomery AL has been waiting for!
We are excited to bring our Montgomery dance competition to the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa this January. The Renaissance is also our host hotel, so dancers and families can stay on site and keep the weekend easy to manage. Dancers spend time in the Classroom Series with our faculty members and then perform in the Competition Experience. This is our Alabama stop on the tour of dance competitions, and we are looking forward to welcoming studios old and new. Space is limited, and registration is handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What to expect at our Montgomery dance convention
Our weekends bring a convention and a competition together under one event. Dancers take part in the Classroom Series, which features extended 70-minute sessions across multiple genres and gives everyone the time to absorb corrections and grow in confidence. If training is the priority, dancers can attend the Classroom Series without competing.
Entering the Competition Experience requires registration for the full Classroom Series at the same event. On stage, dancers receive dedicated performance time and constructive critiques from faculty judges, and the adjudication follows the Amplified Rules and Regulations. Age divisions run from Sparks through Senior, with an Adult Division too. Families can find more about our dance competition Alabama events as they plan.
For dancers looking ahead, Classroom Series + offers optional extra classes, seminars and forums, including Propel: Future in Motion for dancers 16+, parents and educators, and ACE (Amplified Continued Education), a trainee pathway for dancers 15+. The weekend finishes with the SHOWCASE, where the Performance Crew, SPARKS dancers and selected Encore Showcase groups perform.
