Our Knoxville dance competition brings a full Revive weekend to the city in March, with the Marriott Knoxville Downtown confirmed as our host hotel. Dancers will spend the weekend learning from our teaching team, performing for faculty judges and celebrating together at the closing SHOWCASE. What to expect at our Knoxville dance convention
Everyone arrives with different goals, so here is what the weekend offers each of you. Dancers get the Classroom Series: longer 70-minute classes in a range of genres, with space for corrections, questions and real progress. Anyone who simply wants to train can come for classes alone.
Teachers get a clear framework. Competition Experience entries receive dedicated stage time and constructive critiques from faculty judges, adjudication follows the Amplified Rules and Regulations, and each competitor is registered for the full Classroom Series at the same event. Divisions cover Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior, with an Adult Division alongside.
Studios get opportunities to celebrate their dancers, from Encore Showcase selections for group entries to scholarship chances in the Audition Experience for Mini through Senior dancers. Families get the SHOWCASE finale, where the Performance Crew and our SPARKS Experience performers, ages 5–7, share the stage. Performance orders for the Competition Experience are released fewer than 10 days before the weekend, so studios can finalize rehearsal and travel plans once they arrive. When coverage is offered, our dance live stream lets loved ones cheer from afar, and highlights, photos and videos follow after the event.
