Revive's St. Louis dance competition takes place at St. Louis Union Station, a venue that also serves as our host hotel for the weekend. This single May event gives studios a focused finish to their spring plans. Dancers will train with our teaching team, perform in the Competition Experience and gather for the closing SHOWCASE. What to expect at our St. Louis dance convention
We think of Revive as a convention first, with the competition growing out of the training. That is why the Classroom Series carries so much of the weekend: extended 70-minute class sessions across multiple genres, where dancers can learn, practise and grow with our faculty. Dancers who prefer to train without competing are always welcome.
Competition at Revive is designed to continue the learning. Anyone entering the Competition Experience must also be registered for the full Classroom Series at the same event, and on stage they receive dedicated performance time and constructive critiques from faculty judges under the Amplified Rules and Regulations. The weekend closes with the SHOWCASE. Selected group entries may appear through the Encore Showcase, Mini through Senior dancers can earn a Performance Crew place and scholarship opportunities via the Audition Experience, and dancers ages 5–7 perform as part of the SPARKS Experience. Remember that waivers need to be signed before registration is complete.
